First and foremost, please read the player's documentation if you have any questions. When I don't know the date when a roster bonus is due I presume it to have been due on March 1, 2004. I presume that the Patriots will pick up the player's option bonus. To figure out what would be the cap hit if the Patriots were to trade a player, add the remaining signing bonus amount to the amount of his roster bonus, if already earned, the amount of his reporting bonus, if already earned, and the amount of his offseason workout bonus money, if already, and to the amount of any money that is guaranteed past this season . | |||||||||||
