How to Read This Table
When I don't know the date when a roster bonus is due I presume it to have been due on the first day of the League Year. I presume that the Patriots will pick up the player's option bonus so I include the option bonus proration in the total cap amount but until the first day of the League Year I do not include the option bonus in the Remaining Signing Bonus amount.

2013 $405,000 $218,340 $623,340 $1,278,360 $1,578,360 -$855,000 $873,360 signing bonus. Since Dobson's 2013 salary is fully guaranteed, there would not be any cap savings in 2013 by waiving him. In fact, his cap hit would increase since $300,000 of his 2014 salary which is also fully guaranteed would also hit the 2013 cap. If cut, dead money hit in 2013 would be $923,340 and 2014 dead money hit would be $655,020.
2014 $560,835 $218,340 $779,175 $560,835 $955,020 -$595,485 $300,000 of Aaron's 2014 salary is fully guaranteed. If cut in 2014, a player with a $420,000 salary would take his place in the Top 51.

Aaron Dobson - ESPNBoston.Com's Mike Reiss blogged on June 22, 2013 that "taking a closer look at the contract signed by rookie receiver Aaron Dobson:

QUICK-HIT THOUGHTS: If Dobson emerges as a front-line contributor for the Patriots, which is naturally what the team hopes for after selecting him 59th overall, he would represent one of the better values on the team over the next four years. Any salary cap charge less than $1 million for a front-line player is ideal. Dobson has a great opportunity ahead of him and his progress figures to be one of the closer-watched storylines when training camp begins (first practice open to the public is Friday, July 26)
