On May 12, 2015 the New England Patriots signed Fred Davis.
On May 13, 2015 ESPNBoston.Com's Mike Reiss blogged that "The following are details of the one-year contract signed by tight end Fred Davis with the New England Patriots, per ESPN Insider Field Yates:
Base salary: $825,000
Workout bonus: $20,000
Roster bonus: $60,000 ($3,750 per game)
Cap charge: $665,000 (if he plays all 16 games). Current cap charge is $605,000 since Davis' 46-man active roster bonus are considered NLTBE (Not Likely to be Earned) since Davis did not play in 2014.
