How to Read This Table
When I don't know the date when a roster bonus is due I presume it to have been due on March 12, 2013. I presume that the Patriots will pick up the player's 2013 option bonus so I include the option bonus proration in the total cap amount but until March 12 I do not include the option bonus in the Remaining Signing Bonus amount.
Please note that for some players not all of the listed numbers will add up to their reported cap number.

R.J. Mattes R.J. Mattes was re-signed to a thre-year deal by the Patriots on June 3, 2013. He did not receive a signing bonus.

Base salaries/cap charges:

August 16, 2013 update On May 13th Mattes was signed by the Patriots. On May 22nd he was waived. On June 3rd he was resigned. On August 19 Mattes was waived/injured. R.J. Mattes was placed on Injured Reserve on August 20, 2013. Since Mattes has a split salary contract his 2013 salary is now $288,000.
October 29, 2013 update On August 24th he reached an injury settlement with the Patriots. On October 27th the Boston Globe's Ben Volin reported that "Some injury settlements from training camp: WR Kamar Aiken ($35,648). DE Jermaine Cunningham ($37,059). TE Brandon Ford ($101,647). DE Justin Francis ($35,647). OL R.J. Mattes ($67,765). OL Chris McDonald ($67,765). DT Anthony Rashad-White ($135,529)" which means that the Patriots and Mattes agreed that he should be paid four weeks salary.

January 20, 2014 update Mattes was signed to a two-year futures deal on January 20, 2014.
