The Patriots claimed Rashaan Melvin off waivers on October 14, 2015. The Patriots became responsible for the remaining portion of his salaries.
December 8, 2015 update The Patriots waived Melvin.
December 10, 2015 update The Patriots signed Melvin to their practice squad.
January 25, 2016 update The Patriots signed Melvin to a futures contract for the 2016 season. His deal will not kick until the start of the 2016 League Year on March 9th.
August 18, 2016 update The Patriots released Rashaan Melvin on May 2, 2016. Melvin had earned $1,560 in offseason workout bonus money before his release.
